AFC Uses Multiple Alternative Learning Styles to Reach Each Student

Alternatives for Crime Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (AFC), a non-profit organization established in 1990, provides a holistic approach to education. At AFC, youth are our #1 priority. AFC ensures participants an opportunity to maximize their full potential and to be placed in a “win-win” situation.

AFC embodies the philosophy that everyone is born with the ability to succeed. Through its signature program entitled “Calling Card for Success”©, AFC:

    • Implements a variety of online research-based tools;

    • Assists students to achieve high-school diplomas;
    • Teach students to master core-academic subjects;
    • Prepare students to attend post-secondary institutions; and
    • Provide students skillsets for readiness in today’s workforce.

Our Approach

The Calling Card for Success program rests on three essential pillars: Educational Enrichment; Life Skills Exposure; and Career Development; to enhance academic and social growth needed to achieve positive life outcomes. AFC services are available to individuals ages five through adulthood. The goal of AFC is to ensure that each student has the best possible chance of academic and career success. AFC has dedicated years of experience to provide students and their parents with the tools and skills needed to live a better productive life.
